Shooter is Roblox's genre for games where you defeat other players or enemies with ranged weapons. Roblox lists three subgenres. In a Battle Royale many players fight each other until one player or team is left. In a Deathmatch Shooter the main goal is to eliminate the other players or team. In a PvE Shooter you fight computer-controlled enemies instead of people.

For younger players, the maturity column is the quickest check: it is Roblox's own label for each game, and Roblox's Parental Controls can block any single game whatever its label. The subgenre column shows whether a shooter is against other players or against the game.
