The most played Roblox games right now are led by one game by a huge margin: Steal An Egg, with 1,637,966 people in it when we pulled Roblox's own player data at 03:17 UTC on October 10, 2026. Brookhaven RP was second with 441,985 and Adopt Me! third with 254,172. This page ranks the top 25 by that live count, says what each game is in its developer's own words, and links each one to our guides.

TL;DR: Steal An Egg (created July 25, 2026) is the most played Roblox game by far, with more players than the games in 2nd to 7th place combined. Seven of the top 25 were created in 2026, and they held about 45% of the top 25's players. Two egg games sit in the top 10, and two of the top 5 (Adopt Me! and Dandy's World) are running Halloween events. Numbers are a snapshot, not a live counter.

Overview: how we ranked the most played Roblox games

Roblox's discovery page has a sort called "Top Playing Now". We pulled that list and then fetched each game's official details (players, visits, creation date, creator, genre, server size, favorites, last update) from Roblox's games API at 03:17 UTC on October 10, 2026. Roblox's website does not load from our network, so we used a public mirror of the same API that returns Roblox's data unchanged; every number is in our source file with the official address.

Player counts move all day. Read this as "who was busiest at that moment", not a fixed rank. As a cross-check, the tracker Rolimons showed Steal An Egg at 1,613,822 and Brookhaven at 440,736 when we opened its pages the same morning. That is close to Roblox's numbers, though not taken at the same moment. The LevelUpPlay chart, dated October 9, put Brookhaven first and did not list Steal An Egg, so we went with Roblox's own numbers. We also pulled the list a second time at 03:58 UTC to see how much it moves in under an hour (more on that below).

For context, Roblox says its daily active users "grew 10% year-over-year to 123 million" in Q2 2026. The same letter says the top 10 games made up "about 20% of Hours, down from 30%" three years earlier, so new games now break through more often. Steal An Egg is a good example.

Analysis: the top 25 most played Roblox games (Oct 10, 2026)

1. Steal An Egg

Created on July 25, 2026 by the group "and Collect Rare Pets", Steal An Egg had 7,412,904,830 visits and 7,265,911 favorites by October 10. Roblox files it under Simulation, and a server holds only 7 players, one of the smallest caps in this top 25. The developer's how-to list is short: steal eggs from pets, hatch them into rare pets, earn money from those pets, upgrade your treadmill and base, train on the treadmill for speed, and steal eggs from other players. The page says it supports desktop, console, mobile and tablet. Its last update before our check went out at 22:58 UTC on October 9. 2. Brookhaven RP

Brookhaven by Voldex has been around since April 21, 2020 and has 88,382,977,786 visits, the most of any game in this top 25. It is a Roleplay & Avatar Sim: the developer pitches it as a place to "Own and live in amazing houses, drive cool vehicles and explore the city." Servers take up to 30 players. The latest update named on its page is a "Hospital Refresh" with "8 New Hospital Tools", and the page lists private server extras such as prop saving, weather and lighting control, and spawning up to three vehicles.

3. Adopt Me!

Uplift Games' pet game dates from July 14, 2017 and has 45,000,859,776 visits and 29,725,992 favorites. Its pitch is that you adopt and raise pets, "trade and collect legendary pets, build your dream home, and roleplay with friends!" Servers hold 35. The pumpkin in its name is there for a reason: the "Halloween: Hauntlet Returns!" event is live, and its page says you can "Escape Hauntlet and adopt Bolt, the host!" 4. 99 Nights in the Forest

A Survival game by Grandma's Favourite Games, created March 4, 2025, with 29,957,958,188 visits. Its whole description is three lines: "Build a camp with friends.", then "Something is watching you.", then the title. Servers hold 25 players. Of the top 5, it had gone longest without an update at our check: its last one was on October 7.

5. Dandy's World

BlushCrunch Studio's game was created January 26, 2024 and still has "[ALPHA]" in its name. The developer calls it a "Mascot Horror Survival Multiplayer game" where you team up with other Toons to complete machines and go deeper into Gardenview Center. Version 0.29.7 added "2 limited-time Halloween Floors", a Haunted Gala Floor event and the return of Gourdy's Event Shop, per its own update notes. The page also warns that the game "may include bright/flashing lights" and, because it is still in Alpha, to "expect bugs and shutdowns". Servers hold 35.

6. Murder Mystery 2

The oldest game here, created January 18, 2014 by a single user, Nikilis, and visited 31,169,131,771 times. Every round hands you a role. Innocents run, hide and try to expose the Murderer. The Sheriff is the only one with a weapon who can take the Murderer down, and the Murderer tries to eliminate everyone. The page also mentions collecting and trading "hundreds of knives". It was the only top-25 game that had not been updated in the five days before our check; its last update was September 24.

7. Blox Fruits

Gamer Robot Inc's RPG was created January 16, 2019 and has 64,885,644,440 visits. You train as a swordsman or a fruit user, fight bosses and sail around looking for hidden secrets. The page lists a level cap of 3000, its "OUT NOW" line leads with Magnet, and it answers the usual questions up front: fruits spawn on the map every hour and despawn after 20 minutes, and the Blox Fruits Dealer restocks random fruits every 4 hours.

8. RIVALS

Nosniy Games' Shooter, created May 26, 2024, runs first-person duels from 1v1 to 5v5 "where the first to 5 wins". It has the biggest servers in the top 25 at 40 players and by far the most favorites: 94,293,474, about three times Brookhaven's 30,402,871. The page lists "RIA25 Best Shooter Experience" and "RIA26 Best Shooter Experience" and says it runs on desktop, phones, tablets, Xbox and PlayStation 5.

9. Jujutsu Shenanigans

Tze's Shenanigans made this Action game on April 17, 2022; its name currently carries a "[SKY ASSASSIN]" tag. Most of its description is a control list (M1 for a melee combo, number keys for skills, Q to dash, F to block, G to awaken), plus a note that its combat is "based off many battleground games". It also lists "Best Action Experience RIA 2026".

10. Break and Steal an Egg

Created on September 5, 2026 by ILGames x Eggs, its own page says it was "inspired by steal an egg". Here you break eggs to hatch rare animals, steal them and escape the guards, then place them in your base to earn cash. Its 56,071,159 visits are less than 1% of Steal An Egg's, but it was still growing: at our 03:58 UTC re-check it had 141,533 players. Servers hold 7, the same as the original. We compare the two in the guide linked below.

11 to 25: what each game is

• Huss Valley (11th, 123,593 players): created August 31, 2026 by Huss Valley Official. Roblox files it under Action, and its entire description is "RUN!!".
• Ride A Pet (12th, 107,194): created April 14, 2026 by a group called "this game is gud". You find eggs around the map, hatch faster pets to reach rarer eggs, and mutate pets to go even faster. Servers hold just 6.
• Steal a Brainrot (13th, 90,288): created May 16, 2025 by BRAZILIAN SPYDER. It is lower on the list now, but its 73,880,559,284 visits are second only to Brookhaven here. You buy and steal Brainrots, generate money and rebirth. Its page names desktop, mobile and tablet, not console.
• Catalog Avatar Creator (14th, 79,455): made in 2021 by the user Muneeb. You try on avatar items for free and browse what it calls "over 50M+ Community Created outfits". Roblox files it under Shopping.
• Murderers VS Sheriffs DUELS (15th, 78,980): MVS Duels Community's Action game from February 9, 2025, with 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 duels.
• x200 +1 Speed Keyboard Escape (16th, 77,324): created January 18, 2026 by SecretVerse Studio. "Every step = +1 Speed" on a course of candy and chocolate keyboard keys, and one wrong move sends you back to the start.
• Fisch (17th, 77,177): Fisching's fishing game from March 13, 2024 claims "400,000+ possible variations" of fish.
• Fish It! (18th, 73,507): Fish Atelier's game from October 21, 2024 says it was "Inspired by Fisch and Fishing Simulator" and claims 1,000,000+ variations. The two fishing games sat side by side at 17th and 18th.
• STREET FIGHTER 6 x UBG (19th, 72,842): a boxing PvP game created June 2, 2023 that its developer calls a "solo dev project". Its page lists seven codes.
• Slayers 2 (20th, 70,123): Ouw Productions' RPG from February 2, 2024. You "Become the blade that fights Evil Spirits, or the Evil Spirit that hunts them."
• The Strongest Battlegrounds (21st, 66,361): Yielding Arts' fighting game from August 2, 2022, with 19,383,971,184 visits. It says it runs on console, PC and mobile.
• Forsaken (22nd, 63,436): Survivors complete objectives until a timer hits 0 while Killers hunt them. The page opens with a flashing lights and loud audio warning and says the game is in Alpha.
• Volleyball Legends (23rd, 61,447): "FAST-PACED 6v6 Volleyball" with pickup and ranked matches, and a promise of new updates every Saturday at 11:30am EST.
• Illegal Soccer (24th, 56,834): created May 12, 2026 by Repotted. It is soccer "with guns, grappling hooks, jetpacks, & more", and the page lists "No referees" as a pro.
• Anime Dice (25th, 56,619): More & More Games' game from August 15, 2026. You roll dice to reveal anime characters, upgrade your dice for luck, and the page says money generates while you are offline.

What the top 25 tells you about Roblox right now

Roblox tags every game with a genre. Here is how the top 25 split, with the players each genre had at 03:17 UTC:

Simulation leads on both counts, but Steal An Egg alone is 1,637,966 of its 2,250,725 players. Three of the eight Simulation games are built around eggs and pets (Steal An Egg, Break and Steal an Egg, Ride A Pet) and two are fishing games. The other three are Steal a Brainrot (buy and steal Brainrots), x200 +1 Speed Keyboard Escape (a speed course) and Anime Dice (roll for anime characters). Action has more games than Survival but fewer players, because its five entries all sit between 9th and 21st.

New games carry a big share. The seven games created in 2026 had 2,190,180 players between them, about 45% of the 4,820,702 people in the top 25. At the other end, four games date from before 2021: Murder Mystery 2 (2014), Adopt Me! (2017), Blox Fruits (2019) and Brookhaven (2020). 2024 and 2026 tie for the most entries, with seven each.

Live players and lifetime visits don't line up. Brookhaven (88.4 billion), Steal a Brainrot (73.9 billion) and Blox Fruits (64.9 billion) lead on visits, while Steal An Egg, the clear number one by players, has 7.4 billion. Favorites are different again: RIVALS has 94,293,474, more than any other game here by a wide margin.

These games also update constantly. Going by Roblox's "updated" timestamp, 13 of the 25 had been updated in the 11 hours before our check, and 20 of them in the two days before it.

Roblox's Q2 2026 letter explains part of this. Since April, its "Recommended For You" algorithm looks at player behavior over 28 days instead of 7, and it now weighs how often players press Play when shown a game and how many first-time players leave within roughly 30 to 90 seconds. Roblox also says games outside the top 10 grew Hours by 25% year over year. That fits a list where a game created in late July sits above games from 2014 and 2017.

How fast the list moves: the same chart 41 minutes later

We pulled the Top Playing Now sort again at 03:58 UTC. Steal An Egg barely moved (1,635,430). Brookhaven fell from 441,985 to 421,203, and Blox Fruits and Murder Mystery 2 swapped 6th and 7th. Lower down, the order changed a lot:

• STREET FIGHTER 6 x UBG jumped from 19th to 13th, going from 72,842 to 86,595 players.
• x200 +1 Speed Keyboard Escape slid from 16th to 21st (77,324 to 61,063).
• Illegal Soccer dropped out, and [CURE] Violence District came in at 22nd with 60,918.
• Break and Steal an Egg rose from 130,650 to 141,533 and kept 10th place.

In those 41 minutes the top 10 kept the same ten games, while ranks 11 to 25 reshuffled and one game dropped out. Read the bottom half as a rough order, not a fixed rank.

Rising games outside the top 25

Roblox's "Top Trending" sort, from the same 03:17 pull, listed 20 games. Seven were already in our top 25 (Jujutsu Shenanigans, Huss Valley, Adopt Me!, Dandy's World, Fisch, 99 Nights in the Forest and Volleyball Legends). Ten of the other 13 were created in 2026:

• Ball VS Ball (47,382 players, created August 12, 2026): "Pick a ball. Watch it fight!" Auto-battles in 1v1 and 2v2, with 40+ balls to collect and trade.
• Anime Zero (41,528, July 16, 2026): an anime dungeon crawler RPG whose page says it is "currently in active development".
• Survive a Million Monkeys (23,269, August 10, 2026): co-op survival against a monkey horde, with classes and guns.
• 7 Days Cat-Sitting (22,626, September 15, 2026): "Just a normal cute cat game" until, in its own words, "disturbing things start happening".
• Sniper Arena (22,397, January 10, 2026): ranked sniper matches; the page says skins are cosmetic only.
• Pet Store Tycoon (17,054, June 6, 2026): run a pet shop, and team up with friends if you want.
• Get Your Driver's License! (14,251, September 29, 2026): take a number, pass the written test, drive a course with cows and ducks, and win 1 of 18 cars.
• dogs (13,666, September 7, 2026): round-based survival against hordes of dogs.
• Football Fusion 3 (8,748, March 20, 2026) and Dress Designer (8,057, September 24, 2026) complete the list of new ones.

The three older entries were DOORS (42,100 players, created 2021), NFL Universe Football (25,452, created 2018) and Phantom Forces (3,082, created 2015). Roblox's "Up-and-Coming" sort at 03:58 UTC was even newer: all of its first 30 games were created in 2026, 27 of them since September 1, and Get Your Driver's License! was at the top. If one of these breaks into the top 25, it goes on this page at the next re-check.

How to pick a game from the top 25

Everything here comes from the developers' pages and Roblox's server sizes, not from our own play time.

• To get a big group into one server, look at RIVALS (40 per server), Adopt Me! and Dandy's World (35), or Brookhaven, Huss Valley and Murderers VS Sheriffs (30). Steal An Egg and Break and Steal an Egg cap servers at 7, and Ride A Pet at 6.
• For collecting pets and eggs, the options are Steal An Egg, Break and Steal an Egg, Ride A Pet and Adopt Me!.
• For player-versus-player fights, RIVALS, Murderers VS Sheriffs, Jujutsu Shenanigans, The Strongest Battlegrounds and STREET FIGHTER 6 x UBG are all built around them, and Volleyball Legends has ranked matches.
• For something scary, Dandy's World calls itself mascot horror, Forsaken pits Survivors against Killers, and 99 Nights in the Forest warns that "Something is watching you."
• For a calmer session, Fisch and Fish It! are fishing games, and Catalog Avatar Creator is about trying on outfits.
• On console, Steal An Egg, Ride A Pet, RIVALS (Xbox and PlayStation 5) and The Strongest Battlegrounds name console support on their pages. Steal a Brainrot lists desktop, mobile and tablet only.

A note for parents

Roblox's platform numbers give a rough idea of who's playing. In the week ending June 30, 2026, 35% of Roblox users who had age-checked were under 13, 38% were 13 to 17 and 27% were 18 or older. That's Roblox as a whole, not these 25 games. In June Roblox also launched Kids and Select accounts, which by the Q2 letter could access about 30,000 games. We couldn't confirm which of the top 25 are in that catalog, because Roblox's site doesn't load from our network.

A few developer pages carry their own warnings. Dandy's World says it "may include bright/flashing lights". Forsaken opens with a flashing lights and loud audio warning and recommends not playing if you are epileptic. DOORS, on the trending list, warns of "Loud sounds, flashing lights". Several top games involve weapons: Murder Mystery 2 has a Murderer and knives, Illegal Soccer adds guns, and RIVALS is a first-person shooter. The Strongest Battlegrounds says it includes randomized rewards (emotes and spins). None of this is an age rating, just what each developer chose to say about its own game.

Not everyone is happy that simple games top the chart. One r/roblox commenter wrote on October 2, 2026: "You cannot tell me that steal an egg or steal a brainrot(the most popular games this era) is better than the most popular games at that time (eg. Our take

Based on the numbers above, the most played Roblox games right now split into two groups. One is long-running worlds like Brookhaven, Adopt Me! and Murder Mystery 2, which have kept players for years. The other is fast risers like Steal An Egg, Break and Steal an Egg and Huss Valley, all created in the last three months. The second group is winning on live players: the 2026 games held about 45% of the top 25. Roblox's own letter says its discovery changes help new games reach the top, and our 41-minute re-check showed the bottom half reshuffling already, so expect this list to look different every week. That is why it is in our hot review group.

If you only try one game from this list, the data points to Steal An Egg simply because that is where the players are. If you'd rather pick something that has stayed busy for years, the four pre-2021 games (Murder Mystery 2, Adopt Me!, Blox Fruits and Brookhaven) each still had close to 200,000 players or more at our check.

We pulled Roblox's "Top Playing Now" and "Top Trending" sorts and each game's official details at 03:17 UTC on October 10, 2026, through a mirror of Roblox's API, and pulled the sorts again at 03:58 UTC (including "Up-and-Coming"). We cross-checked four of the top games on Rolimons and compared LevelUpPlay's October 9 chart; no third tracker confirmed the full top 25. Genre totals, the 2026 share and the update counts are our own sums of Roblox's fields. Roblox platform numbers come from the Q2 2026 shareholder letter.
