Mamori Stats in Volleyball Legends: Parry, Charge, Mastery
TL;DR: Mamori turns blocks into parries that work on any ball, plus an aerial Charge with a 3.5-second cooldown. Guide sites list Parry and Jump at 100% but Speed and Set at 30%, and Mastery fixes some of that. Spin for it only with free Lucky Spins; the developer publishes no odds.

Parry 100%, Jump 100%, Speed 30%. Those are the Mamori stats that two guide sites agree on, and they explain the style in one line: a blocker who lives at the net and is slow everywhere else. The developer has posted Mamori's moves on Roblox but no numbers, so the question is whether you build a team around a timing-heavy blocker or keep spinning.
Checked Oct 24 from the developer's Roblox listing and Roblox's store data. Stat numbers from guide sites are marked.
Key Takeaways
- The developer's pitch: "a middle blocker that doesn't just block the ball... he PARRIES it."
- Base stats (guide sites): Parry 100, Jump 100, Block 80, Spike 80, Serve 50, Bump 35, Dive 35, Speed 30, Set 30 (all %).
- Charge: 3.5-second cooldown, per the developer.
- Mastery (guide sites): +15% Speed at 2, +10% Block at 4, 15% longer parry windows at 5.
- Released: Oct 17 at 15:30 UTC, the game's Saturday update slot.
Mamori stats: the nine numbers
Neither the game page nor the developer's listing gives stat numbers. allthings.how and games.gg, two unrelated guide sites, each print Mamori's base stats before Mastery, and all nine values match:
Chart: ObbyDesk, from the base stats listed by allthings.how and games.gg (checked Oct 24, 2026)
| Stat | Base value (guide sites) |
|---|---|
| Parry | 100% |
| Jump | 100% |
| Block | 80% |
| Spike | 80% |
| Serve | 50% |
| Bump | 35% |
| Dive | 35% |
| Speed | 30% |
| Set | 30% |
allthings.how sums it up: "Mamori’s starting stats lean heavily toward the net." Neither site cites the developer, so they may both have read the in-game card. Check your own Styles menu if a number matters to you.
Desk note: games.gg, one of our two stat sources, also lists four Mamori abilities with cooldowns: "Iron Receive", "Counter Spike", "Anchor Stance" and "Read Step". None of those names appears in the developer's listing, which names Parry, Perfect Parry and Charge. So we use games.gg's stat list, where it matches allthings.how number for number, and skip its ability table.
What Mamori does, in the developer's words
The developer, Volleyball Game Group, describes the kit on Roblox's "MAMORI - New Style" listing, subtitled "New Blocker":
- Parry: "Block right as the ball arrives to parry it and blast back opponents in front of you. Works on ANY ball, yours or theirs."
- Perfect Parry (Mastery 1): "Time it even tighter and the ball goes back harder, and opponents get blasted even further."
- Charge: "Hit your Special in the air to launch at the ball (3.5s cooldown). Reach it early in the charge for a PERFECT PARRY. Reach it late and you pop it up safe on your side. Hold S to pop it up for yourself."
The Parry text starts with "Block right as the ball arrives", and the game page lists the block control as "Set, Block in Midair - Q [PC], LT [CONSOLE]".

Mamori Mastery, level by level
Mastery is where Mamori's weak spots get patched. The developer only names Mastery 1; both guide sites list the same five steps:
| Mastery | Reward | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Perfect Parry | developer's listing |
| 2 | +15% Speed | guide sites |
| 3 | Parry Dash: hold W during a Charge on your team's ball for a guaranteed Perfect Parry | guide sites |
| 4 | +10% Block | guide sites |
| 5 | Parry and Perfect Parry windows 15% longer (allthings.how and games.gg call it Iron Parry) | guide sites |
Speed and Set are Mamori's lowest stats at 30%, so Mastery 2 is the first step that raises a stat, and it raises Speed. allthings.how makes the same point: the Speed and Block bonuses "cover two of Mamori’s weaker starting numbers".

How players rate Mamori so far
The two player comments we found disagree on the Charge. In a thread asking for opinions on launch day, one player wrote: "The dash hitbox is way too small and is almost always useless." (a player on r/VolleyballLegends, Oct 17, 2026). A few days later another answered the same thread: "It's easy to use hard to master, you can't expect it become no skill." (a player on r/VolleyballLegends, Oct 20, 2026).
The developer's own text points the same way: early contact with the Charge gives a Perfect Parry, late contact only pops the ball up. Timing is the whole style.

How to get Mamori, and what it costs
Guide sites say Mamori comes only from the Style spin system: open Styles, pick Mamori in the Ultra list so the game targets it, then roll with Lucky Spins. allthings.how adds that "Quests and matches cannot award Mamori". games.gg also says Mamori can only be pulled during a featured banner rotation, which allthings.how does not mention. The developer has not published Mamori's odds. The only odds we found, on games.gg, put Mamori in a "Secret Style" row while the same page calls it Ultra, so we print none.
Codes. allthings.how lists three Update 92 codes, two of them for Lucky Style Spins. We could not see them on a developer channel: the game description and the group list no code, and the group has no shout. So we list none.
For parents. Roblox labels Volleyball Legends Minimal, "Suitable for everyone". Spins are where the money goes. Roblox's store data on Oct 24 showed 149 developer products for sale, including "1 Lucky Spin" for 199 Robux, "5 Lucky Spins" for 499 and "20 Lucky Spins" for 1,599. Roblox's Parental Controls let a parent "set a monthly spending limit on how much money your child can spend on Roblox".
Desk note: our math on those prices: 20 Lucky Spins for 1,599 Robux is about 80 Robux a spin, against 199 for one. With no published odds, there is no way to say how many spins one Mamori takes. That is the honest answer to "how much does Mamori cost": nobody outside the developer knows.

Our take
Spin for Mamori only with free Lucky Spins, and skip buying spins for it. The style's two 100% stats, Parry and Jump, make it a net player first, and its 30% Speed stays tied with Set as its lowest number until Mastery 2 adds 15%. The two player comments we found disagree on the Charge. What we don't know yet: Mamori's real odds, and whether Mamori stays in the spin pool now that its listing ended on Oct 23.

How we checked this
We read the developer's event listings, the game data, group, age label, game passes and developer products through a public mirror of Roblox's official APIs at 07:15 UTC on Oct 24, and Roblox's Top Playing Now chart at 07:11 UTC, where Volleyball Legends was 29th with 42,260 players. The stat numbers and Mastery 2 to 5 come from allthings.how (updated Oct 19) and games.gg (posted Oct 18), both unofficial; we opened both on Oct 24 and they match. Reddit comments were read through the Arctic Shift archive on Oct 24. We did not play the game. All 24 sources are in our source file. Last reviewed October 24, 2026.
