Hardest Badges in 99 Nights in the Forest: 12 Rarest Ranked

TL;DR: The four rarest badges are new Halloween ones from October 19: 500 Treats (131 players on October 23, 2026), Candy Collecting 13, 100 Treats and Trick or Treating Pro. Of the older badges, Dream Team is rarest (27,373): 5 players, 99 nights, under 90 minutes, nobody dies. Next come Errands III and II, Woodsman's Quest, Carnivory, Sweeping, Husbandry and the hard-mode symbol badge.

The hardest badges in 99 Nights in the Forest right now are four Trick or Treat badges the developer added on October 19, 2026, led by 500 Treats with 131 players. We ranked all 70 by Roblox's own badge data, read at 07:18 UTC on October 23, 2026: first by the win rate Roblox reports, then by how many players have ever earned each one. Eighteen badges share a win rate that rounds to 0.0. Below are the 12 rarest, how to earn each, and what players say.

Key Takeaways

  • Rarest now: 500 Treats, earned by 131 players at 07:18 UTC on October 23, 2026, four days after it was added.
  • Rarest older badge: Dream Team, 27,373 players.
  • 19 badges have a Roblox win rate that rounds to 0.0 (shown on our 99 Nights badges page as "under 0.1%").
  • Stars are not rarity: the fan wiki gives Archaeology half a star, yet only 2,057,272 players had it.
  • Six badges were awarded 0 times in the day before we checked: three September quest badges and the three October 2 Halloween badges.
  • Reward: Diamonds on first redeem, per the fan wiki; none during update parties.

Overview: how we ranked the hardest badges

99 Nights in the Forest is a survival game by Grandma's Favourite Games, a verified Roblox group. Its whole description is three lines: "Build a camp with friends. Something is watching you. 99 Nights in the Forest". It was 3rd on Roblox's Top Playing Now list when ObbyDesk's tracker read it at 07:02 UTC on October 11, 2026, with 333,664 players; Roblox's game data showed 194,429 playing at 13:15 UTC on October 22.

Roblox publishes a few numbers for every badge: how many players have earned it, how many earned it in the past day, and a win rate (Roblox's winRatePercentage field). Roblox does not document exactly how that win rate is worked out, so we use it only to sort, then break ties with the total number of players who have the badge. Fewer players means rarer. Roblox reports win rates to three decimals, so 19 badges show 0.0.

Desk note: 500 Treats gained 68 holders in the day before our read, 52% of its 131. Dream Team gained 95 out of 27,373. The new badges are rare mostly because they are new, so expect them to climb fast.

How-to text comes from Roblox's own badge descriptions where the developer wrote one, and from the fan-run 99 Nights in the Forest wiki on Fandom (unofficial, marked as such) for steps and tips. The wiki also rates each badge from half a star to 5 stars and lists a Diamond reward.

Analysis: the 12 rarest badges in 99 Nights in the Forest

Numbers are Roblox's, read at 07:18 UTC on October 23, 2026 ("earned" is all-time; "past day" is the day before we checked). Stars and Diamonds are the fan wiki's, read on October 11.

1. 500 Treats (earned by 131; 68 in the past day). Roblox's text: "Trick or treat 500 times". One of ten Halloween badges added on October 19.

2. Candy Collecting 13 (2,101; 714). "Get 13 or more candy from a single trick or treat".

3. 100 Treats (3,425; 1,476). "Trick or treat 100 times". One fifth of the 500 Treats count.

4. Trick or Treating Pro (4,088; 1,273). "Get candy trick or treating every night until night 99".

Trick-or-treating sits under the game's "Trick or Treat" listing on Roblox, Part 1, which runs to 12:00 UTC on October 24, 2026. Roblox's data does not say whether these badges can still be earned after that.

5. Dream Team (27,373; 95). Roblox's text: "Team of 5. Survive 99 nights. Under 90 minutes. 0 deaths between all of you." The wiki rates it 5 stars, worth 10 Diamonds. One player's post: "We got the badge on our 3rd attempt." (Reddit, Jun 19, 2026).

6. Errands III (91,481; 228). "Complete 100 daily quests." The wiki says daily quests "are found in the lobby and reset every day at 1:30 PM EST", and that "The quests can be completed cumulatively, instead of consecutively." So this one takes time, not skill: at least 100 days of quests.

7. Errands II (372,842; 553). "Complete 50 daily quests." Same lobby quests, half the count.

8. Woodsman's Quest (481,853; 0). "Chop down 40 trees in 30 seconds". The wiki files it under "New Classes 2026", worth 6 Diamonds.

9. Carnivory (546,999; 679). "Survive 99 Days only eating any Meat (stew counts as Meat if it has meat in it)". The wiki adds: "Stew counts if it is made with only meat. This must be completed in one gaming session."

10. Sweeping (599,451; 0). "Destroy 200 webs with Happy's Scythe". One of three Halloween badges added on October 2; none of the three was awarded in the day before we checked.

11. Husbandry (807,203; 446). Roblox: "Tame a difficult animal". The wiki names them: "Tame a Bear, Mammoth or Hellephant using a taming flute for the first time."

12. The hard-mode badge, "☣†Ψ§∞☠‡Ω@" (829,744; 543). Roblox gives no description. The wiki says it takes surviving "99 days in hard mode" and calls it one of the two hardest badges, at 5 stars and 10 Diamonds.

Seven more badges also round to 0.0. Sorted by fewest players:

BadgeWhat it asks (Roblox)Earned (Oct 23, 2026)
Escape Artist's Quest"Have 7 Alpha Wolves chase you at once"844,347
Blessing II"Activate all blessings in the world. This can be done in the caves"1,099,158
Strawcraft"Help your team assemble Happy back together again"1,763,895
Archaeology"Place the four skulls onto their podiums in the jungle biome"2,057,272
Elemental's Quest"Use either poison/ice/fire effects on 50 different enemies"2,129,780
Self-Preservation"Get to day 99 without rescuing any of the Missing Children"3,895,693
Reaping"Level up Happy's Scythe to max level"4,653,432

Per the wiki, an alpha wolf that detects you "will chase them until either the player dies or escapes its detection radius." For Archaeology, the wiki's steps are: "Locate the 5 pyramids, get four skull keys, and place the skulls onto their podiums in the central pyramid." It rates that one half a star, which shows how far the wiki's difficulty and Roblox's rarity can drift apart. The jungle biome itself was added in March 2026, per the wiki. Elemental's Quest is another "New Classes 2026" quest badge, and like Escape Artist's Quest it was awarded 0 times in the day before we checked.

Vegetarian ("Survive 99 Days without eating any Meat (stew counts as Meat if it has meat in it)") moved up to a 0.001 win rate, with 5,117,762 players. The wiki calls it "one of the harder badges to obtain, as the carrots and berries you eat do not fulfill much of your hunger." It pairs well with Self-Preservation. One Reddit duo did both from a tower: "Yeah we just got self preservation and vegetarian by planting multiple farm plots at the bottom of a tower. Stay in the tower each night and bring food up during the day." (Reddit, Aug 1, 2025). In the same thread, another commenter said meat-free stew worked: "I ate carrot stews the whole time and I got the badge." (Reddit, Aug 1, 2025).

The next step up: 0.001

Eleven badges had a Roblox win rate of 0.001. Sorted by fewest players:

BadgeWhat it asks (Roblox)Earned (Oct 23, 2026)
Carving 30"Carve 30 pumpkins in a single game"13,524
Full Costuming"Trick or treat with every full costume before 99 nights"17,391
Mastery"Unlock all fire tiers, rescue all 4 of the missing kids, unlock all crafting tiers and finish all the pelt traders requests before reaching 99 days"827,706
Dueling"Defeat all waves of enemies in the Fight Pit"1,063,982
Errands I"Complete 10 of the daily quests"4,922,492
Vegetarian"Survive 99 Days without eating any Meat (stew counts as Meat if it has meat in it)"5,117,762
Teamwork"Survive 99 Days with a team of 5 people"8,800,033
Usurpation"Defeat the king"10,281,624
Determined II"Survive 500 Days"10,423,246
Beastmaster"Defeat the Frog King"11,069,889
Botany"Revive the tree in the fairy biome. Its roots are thirsty"11,609,169

The wiki says Mastery must be done "in one game, before reaching 99 days". Teamwork, it says, is hard "because players are likely to leave mid-game, and the difficulty is scaled based on the number of players." For Mastery, one player described a near miss: "We both didn't get the badge in one run, because we forgot upgrading the bench to tier 5 before 99 days." (Reddit, Jun 20, 2026).

What badges give you, and the Halloween badges

Diamonds. Per the wiki, "Getting badges for the first time also lets the player redeem them for a certain number of Diamonds, a currency which can be used to buy Classes." The Diamond amounts in this guide come from the wiki's Badges table; the wiki's Diamonds page gives a different rule (Diamonds equal to the star rating), so treat the exact numbers as unconfirmed. The wiki adds that "No badges are able to be obtained during update parties". Our 99 Nights beginner guide covers Classes and the campfire.

Halloween. The game has added Halloween badges three times. Three came on October 2, 2026: Reaping ("Level up Happy's Scythe to max level"), Strawcraft ("Help your team assemble Happy back together again") and Sweeping ("Destroy 200 webs with Happy's Scythe"). All three now round to 0.0, and none was awarded in the day before we checked. The wiki's update log says "Earn all 3 badges to earn the Happy's Cart furniture item" (read October 11). Thirteen more came after October 11: three on October 17 ("Trick-or-treat wearing a full costume", "Carve a pumpkin", "Collect your first candy"), each already earned by more than 2 million players, and ten Halloween badges on October 19, eight of them for trick-or-treating, including the four at the top of this list. Roblox's "Trick or Treat" listing (Part 1) runs from 17:00 UTC on October 17 to 12:00 UTC on October 24, 2026, with no description, and no Part 2 was listed when we checked. Our badges page re-reads Roblox's data every day.

For parents. Roblox labels 99 Nights in the Forest Minimal, with Fear (Occasional/Mild) and Violence (Occasional/Mild). The store sells revives, single-life weapons, Diamond packs and class rerolls: on October 11, 2026, 25 developer products and 1 game pass were for sale, including "Self Revive" (55 Robux), "Revive Everyone" (230) and "700 Diamonds" (2,500). On October 22, 1 game pass was still for sale. Roblox's Parental Controls let a parent "set a monthly spending limit on how much money your child can spend on Roblox".

Our take

Skip the race for 500 Treats, and try Vegetarian with Self-Preservation in one run. The four rarest badges are trick-or-treat grinds of up to 500 treats, and Roblox lists trick-or-treating only until 12:00 UTC on October 24. Vegetarian has 5,117,762 holders, so it is hard but doable, and the Reddit tower plan above covers both badges at once. Dream Team and the hard-mode badge are the real skill tests, with 27,373 and 829,744 holders. Errands III and Errands II are about showing up every day. Six badges were awarded 0 times in the day before we checked, and we could not confirm whether they can still be earned. For a bigger group, our games to play with friends list starts with this game.

How we checked this

We first read all 57 of the game's badges from Roblox's public badges API through a mirror, at 07:24 UTC on October 11, 2026, along with the game data, group, age label, event listing and store. Rank and player count come from ObbyDesk's reading of Roblox's Top Playing Now chart at 07:02 UTC that day. At 13:15 UTC on October 22 we read all 70 badges again, plus the game data, age label, event listing and game passes, and re-checked the Reddit quotes through the Arctic Shift archive. At 07:18 UTC on October 23 we read the badges and the event listing once more; the counts in this guide are from that read. How-to steps, stars, Diamond rewards and tips come from the fan-run 99 Nights in the Forest wiki on Fandom, which is unofficial; it blocked our reader on October 22, so those are as read on October 11. Reddit posts were first read in a browser. We did not earn these badges ourselves. All 55 sources are in our source file. Last reviewed October 22, 2026.
