DONT SPLASH Roblox Guide: 9 Rooms, Tools and the Farm Map
TL;DR: Start on Easy, collect every pebble, and throw it into open water before a risky jump. Spend your first Coins on tools, not Robux, and keep kids out of strangers' parties while the store sells pushes.

One splash is all it takes in the DONT SPLASH Roblox game. You cross flooded pool rooms on tiles, and a blind monster hunts the sound of the water. Two weeks after launch, it was #14 on Roblox's Top Playing Now chart, with 99,770 players at 01:07 UTC on Nov 1, 2026, down from #10 and 119,450 players on Oct 30. Learn the free lures before you spend anything. Parents should also know that the store sells shoves on other players.
Checked Oct 30 from Roblox's game, store and event data, again at 14:07 UTC on Oct 31, after the farm map listing opened, and a third time at 01:07 UTC on Nov 1. Fan-site details are marked.
What parents need to know:
- Roblox labels DONT SPLASH Minimal, with "Fear (Occasional/Mild)" and "Violence (Occasional/Mild)". Roblox defines Minimal as "May contain occasional mild violence, light unrealistic blood, and/or occasional mild fear."
- On Nov 1 the store had 12 passes for sale (30 to 150 Robux) and 20 products (14 to 199 Robux). Four of the products buy a push on another player.
- Roblox's Parental Controls let you "Set a monthly spending limit, get spending notifications, and manage Robux transfers." Our Roblox parental controls guide walks through each setting.
Overview: what the DONT SPLASH Roblox game is
The developer's description is short. It opens with "DONT SPLASH V2" and "DONT SPLASH, IT KNOWS", then says the game "is inspired by the eerie atmosphere of the Poolrooms and House of the Locust." Nothing on the page explains the V2.
It is made by Bacon Theory, a Roblox group with 866,181 members on Nov 1 (491,527 on Oct 30). It is the group's only public game. Roblox lists it as created on October 17, with servers of 10 players, under Obby & Platformer, Runner.
The numbers grew fast. At 01:07 UTC on Nov 1 the game had 127,206,281 visits and 378,725 favorites. That is about 8.6 million visits a day since launch. On Oct 30 it was #1 on Roblox's Top Trending sort, and it still was on Nov 1; Roblox describes that sort as "Top experiences with the largest relative increase in daily active users over the past week." Players liked it: 73,417 up votes and 10,535 down, or 87.5%.
How scary is it? Roblox gave it the lowest label, Minimal, with only mild fear and mild violence. AxeeTech mentions a jump scare when the monster grabs you, and no gore. Our Roblox horror games ranked from mild to scary list sorts other horror games by the same labels.
Step-by-Step: your first DONT SPLASH Roblox run
Bacon Theory does not explain the rooms anywhere we could read. The steps below come from two guide sites that watched runs, AxeeTech (Oct 29) and dontsplash.com (Oct 25). They agree on every room name.
1. Make a party. Walk into the zone that says "Touch to create a party". Pick Easy, which has one monster; Normal has three.
2. Learn the one rule. The monster cannot see you. It hears the water, so a fall, a clipped jump or a bad landing calls it.
3. Pick up every pebble. Gray stone clusters refill your pebbles. Pillar Hall, the first room, is the easy place to stock up.
4. Throw before you jump. A pebble only works when it lands in open water, per bloxodes.com. Hitting the monster does nothing.
5. Stop only on dark tiles. Dark-bordered tiles stay put, and light ones sink under you, according to the guide sites. Sinking Platforms, room 3, is where this matters.
6. Read the moving rooms. Rotating Bridge, Moving Platforms and Drifting Platforms come next. Memory Bridge lights its safe tiles in a sequence, then goes dark. In Crushing Walls the walls push you toward the water, and one lane stays open.
7. Crack the Locked Exit. Four pillars each show a number. Photograph them with the camera prompt and type the four digits at the door. The digits change every run.
Those are 9 rooms, in the order both guide sites give: Pillar Hall, Broken Walkway, Sinking Platforms, Rotating Bridge, Moving Platforms, Drifting Platforms, Memory Bridge, Crushing Walls and Locked Exit. The game launched with the first 4, and the other 5 arrived on Oct 24.
The valves are not a room. AxeeTech describes a Maintenance Lock section with two red wheels: hold the button on each until the ring fills, and the first one shows "Valve opened (1/2)". It does not say where in the run that section sits.

If the jumps are the hard part, practice on a pure obby with no monster first. Our Tower of Hell Roblox guide covers one of the oldest.

Coins or Robux: what to buy first
Runs pay Coins, and the Equipment stall in the lobby sells the tools. The prices below are from bloxodes.com and dontsplash.com, which agree except where marked. The Robux column is Bacon Theory's own store, read on Oct 30 and unchanged on Nov 1.
| Tool | What it does (guide sites) | Coins (guide sites) | Robux refill (store) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pebbles | Small splash to pull the monster away | Free from stone clusters; 5 Coins each | 20 for 19 |
| Bottles | One loud splash far from you | 150 to unlock | 10 for 19 |
| Wind-up Toy | A decoy that keeps making noise as it moves | 300 (bloxodes.com only) | 8 for 29 |
| Flare | Stuns the monster for about 5 seconds | 450 to unlock | 8 for 39 |
| Rescue Rope | Pulls a teammate back onto a platform | 250, once per room | Pass, 30 |
Buy Bottles first. They are the cheapest unlock, and bloxodes.com says one far-off splash can buy you a clear stretch. The Flare is the expensive one, and you only need it when a lure is too slow.
The rope is the odd one, and the two guide sites disagree about it. Both price it at 250 Coins. dontsplash.com says that rope is one use per room, and the 30 Robux pass is the reusable one. bloxodes.com calls the 250-Coin rope a "Permanent unlock; reusable once per room." The pass itself says "Permanent reusable rope unlock." We couldn't tell which site is right. Solo players can skip both.
Upgrades are the long grind. Throwing Range, Pebble Skipping and Rescue Speed are open from the start. Toy Battery, Flare Radius and Rope Reach wait until you own that tool. Each has 3 levels. dontsplash.com puts level 1 of the first three at 150 Coins and did not record the price for the other three.
Desk note: The store sells a "Max" pass for each of the six upgrades at 75 Robux, which is 450 Robux for all six. A pass called All Upgrades Maxed costs 149, but its description is empty. We can't tell you it covers all six, so check the in-game text first.

Then there are the pushes. Four of the 20 products sell shoves on other players. "Push Player" is 14 Robux and "grants one push on a nearby player." "Super Push" is 24 and adds "a brief ragdoll". Packs of five cost 49 and 89. We have not seen where a push works, in the lobby or mid-run. In a game where one splash calls the monster, that is worth knowing before a child joins a stranger's party.
The rest is coins and second chances. Coin packs run 250 Coins for 29 Robux, 750 for 79 and 2,000 for 199. "Revive a Friend" is 24 and "Double Run Coins" is 29, for one finished run only.
The farm map and the Pumpkin Shop
Bacon Theory posted a Roblox event on Oct 28 called "🎃NEW FARM MAP🎃", set for 14:00 to 15:00 UTC on Oct 31. That was 10 a.m. Eastern. Its subtitle asks "CAN YOU ESCAPE THE FARM?" The developer's text: "A brand-new farm map is coming! Make your way through multiple new stages, collect pumpkins, and unlock new equipment to help you survive."
The listing went live on time. Roblox shows the game updated at 13:53 UTC, seven minutes before it opened. At 14:07 UTC the game had 149,340 players, up from 118,485 when we checked at 17:35 UTC on Oct 30. By 01:06 UTC on Nov 1 it was down to 99,711, and Roblox's data showed no update after the 13:53 UTC one.

The store was ready first. Three Pumpkin packs, 10 for 29 Robux, 35 for 79 and 100 for 199, are "to spend in the Pumpkin Shop". They were created at 18:13 UTC on Oct 28. A Fall Pack appeared in that same minute. It promises "2x cash and a free self-revive every run until November 14, plus the permanent Leaf Trail and Raven Aura". At 14:07 UTC on Oct 31 it still had no price and was not for sale. By 01:06 UTC on Nov 1 it was on sale for 150 Robux, and the Halloween Pack, 79 Robux the day before, was no longer for sale. The other 11 passes and all 20 products, the Pumpkin packs included, were unchanged.
A Farm option showed up before the listing, too. In an Oct 24 test by the fan site dont-splash.wiki, cited by dontsplash.com, a Farm tile on the party screen returned "THIS GAME IS NOT PUBLISHED". No source says that tile is the same map as this listing.
What we don't know yet: what the farm stages are, what the Pumpkin Shop sells and whether pumpkins can be earned in runs. The game description and the event text were unchanged after the update, and the Bacon Theory group had no shout, so the developer had not described the farm when we checked at 14:07 UTC on Oct 31. At 01:06 UTC on Nov 1 the description, event text and group page were still the same.
DONT SPLASH codes and the wrong-game code
There are none from the developer. On Oct 30, again after the farm update on Oct 31, and once more on Nov 1, the game description, the Bacon Theory group and its one event listing had no code. The group had no description and no shout.
You may see ILOVEWATER on code lists. It belongs to a different game, Dont Spill the Water! by Ascora Studios, whose page starts "USE CODE: ILOVEWATER". It will not work here. Never type a password into a site that offers codes or free Robux; our guide to fake Roblox codes and scams shows how to spot them.
Our take
Play it on Easy with friends you know, and skip the push products. The free route covers a full run. Pebbles come from stone clusters, and the tools sell for Coins. Robux buys shortcuts (coins, refills, maxed upgrades, extra tool slots), a cosmetic or two and the option to shove another player for 14 Robux. One player's reply sums up the appeal. Under an r/roblox post asking for horror games "that are just stupid fun", it named this one:
""Dont splash" i think was the name of the game Very fun." (a player on r/roblox, Oct 25, 2026)
That is one comment, not a verdict from players at large. The farm map is the open question.
Our view, from the sources in this article.

How we checked this
We read the game's data, group, age label, event listing, game passes, developer products, thumbnails and two chart sorts through a public mirror of Roblox's official APIs between 17:33 and 17:42 UTC on Oct 30, and the game data, event, passes, products and group again at 14:07 UTC on Oct 31. On Nov 1, between 01:06 and 01:08 UTC, we read the game, event, passes, products, group, both chart sorts and the lookalike game once more. Every Robux price and store quote is the developer's own text. Room names, controls and Coins prices come from three unofficial guide sites, AxeeTech, dontsplash.com and bloxodes.com, and we name the site in the sentence. We did not play the game. The Reddit quote is one reply on a public r/roblox thread, read on the thread's own page on Oct 31.
