This Evade Roblox guide explains how a round works, how players outrun the nextbots, how reviving works and what the Halloween event listing promises. Evade was 30th on Roblox's Top Playing Now list when ObbyDesk's tracker read it at 04:13 UTC on October 11, 2026, with 46,688 players.

TL;DR: Survive 3 minutes while nextbots chase you. Keep moving, crouch for a small speed boost, slide into doors to dash them open, and carry downed teammates to revive them. The Halloween event is listed from October 17 to November 21, 2026. Roblox rates Evade Mild for fear and violence. No codes on the developer's Roblox pages.

Key Takeaways

  • The pitch: "Action parkour game, where movement is the key to success in surviving the Nextbots."
  • Round length (fan wiki): 3 minutes; surviving without being downed earns a win.
  • Lives (fan wiki): you can be downed 3 times; the third time is a full death.
  • Halloween: the developer's listing runs October 17 to November 21, 2026.
  • Age label: Mild. Codes: none on Roblox as of October 11, 2026.

Overview: what Evade is

Hexagon Development Community, a verified Roblox group with 5,317,162 members on Oct 20, made Evade on June 10, 2022. Servers hold 15 players. Roblox files it under Survival. It had 9,286,650,753 visits and 8,310,704 favorites when we read Roblox's API on October 11, 2026, and Roblox's data showed its last update on Oct 20.

The description is short: "Action parkour game, where movement is the key to success in surviving the Nextbots." It also notes a rewrite: "We've rewritten the codebase for better stability and optimization". And it carries two warnings: one against cheats ("Using exploits, fastflags, or any other forms of cheats will result in an unappealable ban") and "You may experience flashing lights and loud sounds in-game".

Analysis: how a round of Evade works

The nextbots. The fan wiki describes nextbots as the main enemies, "dealing every player 125 damage". It says "The average nextbot is 2% slower than the player, and can be generally be outrun pretty easily", though some, such as Scout, "are naturally faster". You usually hear them first: nextbots show up "via a noticeable loud/quiet (idle) audio, flicking lights, and red or black screen filter that increases in intensity as they get closer."

Winning a round. Per the fan wiki, "Normal round last 3 minutes." You earn a Win "if player survive until the end of the round for 3 minutes without being downed". XP comes at the end of every round, "depending on the amount of time you survived", and Tokens are "used to purchase items in the shop".

Getting downed. You do not die on the first hit. The wiki's Downed page says "If in server more that 2 player in round and if one of them is downed, other players can carry and revive the downed player." It adds: "Player can down 3 times, in third downing he will fully die and goes to the main menu." Items such as the Defibrillator or the free revive button bring you back. The wiki notes the change from the Summer 2026 update: "Now you can down 3 times before dying instead of 2."

Modes. The fan wiki says game modes "heavily modify how the game is played", and that "As of July 18th, 2026 gamemodes voting has been removed". The loading-screen tips it collects point newer players to "the Casual gamemode" for "an easier experience with infinity lives", and better players to Pro Servers for "a tougher challenge, with better rewards".

Evade tips for your first rounds

  1. Learn the keys. The game page lists them: [E] interact, [G] emote, [1/3/F] equip item, [2] usables menu, [C/Ctrl] crouch, [T] whistle, [M] menu and [N] VIP menu.
  2. Keep moving forward. A loading tip says "Walking forward will slowly increase your speed, until you're reached your running speed limit."
  3. Crouch for bursts. Another tip: "Use your crouch button when running or going down a slope to gain a small speed boost."
  4. Slide through doors and wall run. Per the tips, "Sliding into a door will dash it open." and "Jumping and running alongside a wall allows you to wall run."
  5. Try bunny hopping later. The wiki's Movement page explains it as "jumping every time one touches the floor", and says it "can not be done while carrying a player". The page itself warns its information "can be outdated".
  6. Go back for teammates. The tips say "Revive other teammates for extra rewards." The Downed page adds that even when downed you can whistle "to mark you current place" on PC and consoles.

One player says it is easy to pick up: "I love evade. It's the kind of game which requires little effort but is still fun anyway, especially with friends," wrote one (Reddit, Aug 14, 2026).

The Evade Halloween event, codes and safety

Halloween 2026. The developer's event listing, "Halloween Event", runs from 00:55 UTC on October 17, 2026 (8:55 PM Eastern on October 16) to 02:00 UTC on November 21 (9 PM Eastern on November 20). It promises "40+ exclusive Halloween themed cosmetics, emotes, and more!", "7+ Halloween themed maps", Wisps "that spawn around the map" to spend on Halloween cosmetics in the battlepass, new quests, and Spellbooks that give "temporary boosts in power, such as speed, jump height, and invulnerability". The listing image reads "OCTOBER 16", which matches the US evening start. This guide was written from the listing on October 11 and rechecked on Oct 17, so check the in-game event for anything that changed.

What the store sells. On October 11, 2026, Roblox's data showed 23 game passes and 78 developer products for sale. The passes are cosmetic sets (for example "Military Set" at 700 Robux), emote packs, "+6 Emote Slots" (300) and RELICS Boombox add-ons. The products include gifts of those sets, XP boosters from 19 Robux for 15 minutes to 899 Robux for 7 days, and Voucher packs from 12 to 379 Robux, created on October 7. There are also Token packs (80 Tokens for 30 Robux up to 5,000 for 1,280), Points and Tickets packs, "Instant Revive" (15), "Respawn" (10), paid "Special Round" products (35 to 135) and "Shamrock Speed Pad" and "Shamrock Jump Pad" items (50 each). The fan wiki's tips say "Cosmetic skins provide no benefits." The Halloween listing adds time limits: a "New Glorp Cat Gamepass Set [LIMITED TIME Nov. 20th]", an "Eclipse Set Return Sale until October 31st", and "ALL GAMEPASS SETS NEW & OLD WILL BE REDUCED TO 500 ROBUX FOR NOW". Prices are as of October 11, 2026.

Codes. We checked the game description and the Hexagon Development Community group on October 11, 2026 and again on Oct 20. Neither listed a code, and the group shout was empty. The group warns: "Watch out for impersonators, only official announcements and developers are on the linked accounts." We could not read the developer's X or Discord from our network, so the block below is empty.

Oct202026

No active codes: the developer listed none when we checked on Oct 20, 2026.

"New" means we first saw the code on the developer's channel in the last 7 days. We copy codes from the developer and do not test them in game. No code gives free Robux. Codes for every game we track.

Safety. Roblox labels Evade Mild, with "Fear (Repeated/Mild)" and "Violence (Repeated/Mild)". Roblox describes Mild as "May contain repeated mild violence, heavy unrealistic blood, mild crude humor, and/or repeated mild fear." The nextbots are sudden and loud, and the page warns about flashing lights. The fan wiki's tips mention a "VC Only gamemode" for players with Roblox voice chat. One player's view of the chat: "still fun, i dont interact with the community/chat anymore because people can be needlessly toxic haha" (Reddit, Aug 15, 2026). Roblox's Parental Controls let a parent "set a monthly spending limit on how much money your child can spend on Roblox".

Our take

Based on the game page, the event listing, Roblox's store data and the fan wiki cited above, Evade is a simple chase game with short rounds: survive 3 minutes, keep moving, and carry your friends when they go down. The Halloween event adds maps, cosmetics and temporary Spellbook boosts on top of the same rounds. Its loud audio, flashing lights and Fear (Repeated/Mild) descriptor mean it suits kids who already like a jump scare. The store has many small paid shortcuts, from revives to currency packs, so set a spending limit first. If your player wants less fear, our best Roblox horror games list sorts 14 games by Roblox's fear labels, and Violence District is the team-versus-killer option.

How we checked this

We read the game's data, description, group, age label, event listing, game passes and developer products through a public mirror of Roblox's official APIs on October 11, 2026, and used ObbyDesk's reading of Roblox's Top Playing Now chart from 04:13 UTC that day. On Oct 17 we read the event listing again; its start had moved five minutes earlier. On Oct 20 we re-read the game data, description, group, age label, event listing, store and fan wiki pages; the store sentence above stays as of Oct 11. Round rules, downs, currencies, tips and movement come from the Evade fan wiki on Fandom, which is unofficial and marked as such. Reddit comments were read in a browser and checked again through the Arctic Shift archive on Oct 20. We did not play the game for this guide. All 50 sources are in our source file. Last reviewed October 20, 2026.
