What Happened in Piggy Halloween 2026

Piggy Dev Team, a verified Roblox group, opened the season on October 1 at 17:00 UTC. The "Fright Night - Season 9" listing is subtitled "New Halloween season!" and warns: "Beware the dead of night, for you're in for a fright on October 1st!"

Part II followed on October 17. Its listing says "The final rewards for Fright Night release on October 17th, but the haunts are just beginning..." Both listings end at 18:00 UTC on November 1. The fan wiki gives November 9 as the season's end instead. We go by the developer's listing.

Then the Carnival changed. When we read Piggy's listings on October 11 and October 19, a "Frightful Forest" event ran from October 10 to November 8. By October 22 it was gone. "Frightful Carnival" took its place on October 24 at 17:00 UTC, with the same November 8 end.

The Carnival listing is two sentences long: "The Carnival map gets a spooky and exciting new look for the season!" and "Around the scary rides will be hidden a secret that will grant a unique, limited time Kill Effect!" It does not name the effect or say where the secret is. The game's name on Roblox now reads "Piggy [FRIGHTFUL CARNIVAL]".

The guide site Endgame Tools lists the same three events with the same UTC times.

Piggy Halloween 2026 and The Hollow

Piggy is also one of the nine games in The Hollow, Roblox's own Halloween event. Roblox's newsroom says "a different monster appears each day for nine days, and ends with a live finale on Oct. 31." On October 17, Roblox's Instagram post for Piggy read: "Ready for Chapter 13? Piggy is back, and this chapter takes place in The Hollow."

Roblox has not dated Chapter 13. Its Hollow hub does list one Piggy event: a creator livestream from 16:30 to 17:00 UTC on October 31. A listing titled only "?????????" follows at 17:30 UTC. The fan wiki has a Halloween chapter page with an October 31 release, which it has not sourced.

Why It Matters

Piggy's last three event launches each pulled players back on the day they opened. Our tracker shows it plainly.

Desk note: Piggy peaked at 15,014 players on October 15. On October 17, Part II's day, it hit 83,026 at 17:36 UTC, about 35 minutes after the listing opened. That is 5.5 times as many. Carnival day, October 24, peaked at 51,150 at 17:11 UTC.

So servers fill up fast on launch days, then thin out within a week. By October 21 the daily peak was back to 18,937.

The name "Carnival" trips people up. The Carnival map is not new: Roblox's badge for it, "Completed Carnival", says it is "awarded to those who completed Chapter 8!" It was created on April 3, 2020, and 123,860,297 players had it on October 25. No Piggy badge has been created since October 1, so this Halloween has no badge to chase.

Worth it? The Carnival secret: Yes. It costs nothing, and the listing says it grants a limited-time Kill Effect. The Premium Pass at 599 Robux (fan wiki): Maybe, only if you will play most days before November 1.

Play Fright Night first, then hunt the Carnival secret before November 8. Fright Night's two listings end on November 1, a full week before the Carnival. Launch days pulled 2.6 to 5.5 times the peak of a quiet day, and Piggy's Hollow livestream lands on October 31, the day of The Hollow's finale.
