What Happened: Slap Battles Halloween 2026 is live

The developer's Roblox listing is short. Title "HALLOWEEN!", subtitle "Boo!", text "Things are about to get a whole lot spookier…". It starts at 16:00 UTC on Oct 23 and ends at 17:00 UTC on Nov 6. US clocks change on Nov 1, so both ends land at noon Eastern. The game's Roblox name now reads "[UPDATE👻] Slap Battles👏".

Slap Battles is made by Slap Battles, a verified Roblox group with 6,730,646 members. The game came out on Feb 16, 2021 and has 3,671,612,750 visits. Its pitch: "You earn slaps when slapping people, which are used to unlock new gloves."

The new place. The fan wiki says a place called Halloween 26 was added on Oct 23. You reach it through "A portal in the house" past a gravestone obby near the Default Only Arena, and up to 4 players go in together. Inside, a living candy corn named Count Cornifer asks you to "collect a total of 10,000 candy across 3 rounds". You get candy by slapping candy corns or by trick or treating. Badge text agrees on the theme: "Trick or Treat in the Neighbourhood domain… just don’t go knocking at the wrong door…"

Desk note: the wiki's three rounds ask for 2,000, 3,000 and 4,999 stored candy. That adds up to 9,999. The last one is a single candy corn you hand to Cornifer yourself, which gets him to 10,000. Then the Revenant consumes him. Happy Halloween.

The wiki's Revenant page adds a team catch: you carry "2,000 at a time in singleplayer, 1,500 with 2 players, 1,000 with 3 players, and 600 with 4 players". Its Halloween 26 page gives a flat 600, so the solo limit is not settled. The wiki also says the place works in private servers.

The glove. Touching the glove Cornifer leaves behind gives the Treated to Tricks badge and the Revenant glove. The wiki describes a revenant that follows you and lunges, and "can hit the user as well as anyone nearby". So it can hit you too.

Analysis: which Slap Battles Halloween 2026 badges you can earn

Roblox publishes how many players earned each badge in the past day. That shows which old Halloween content is back, even where the developer's listing says nothing.

Desk note: Treated to Tricks had 41,007 holders at 08:32 UTC on Oct 24, and 40,202 of them earned it in the day before, by Roblox's own count. That is 98%, about 16 hours after the event opened.

The gift bags. Two badges created on Oct 20 are hidden gift bags. "You found the Mortis gift bag from an influencer!" and "You found the Dave gift bag from a developer!" Each holds 35 Candy Corns plus a cosmetic effect.

Candy Corn. It is the Halloween currency, found on the main islands. The badge text says candy corns "do not spawn in VIP servers, but they save when you leave." The wiki says the cap rose to 2,500 this year. One gap: the Sweet-Tooth Sovereign badge text says "Collect 2000 candy corns!", while the wiki's Necromancer page says 2,500. We could not confirm which is right.

A tip from r/SlapBattles for the grind: "If you have Untitled Tag Glove, use it. That's what I used to get Candy King in 2025 halloween." (Reddit, Oct 23).

The two gloves before Halloween

Catseye (Oct 16). The developer's listing says: "This critter may have been scrapped from last Halloween, but now it’s finally able to make its debut as its very own glove!" It calls it "the closest thing you’ll get to having 2 Halloween gloves". The wiki says it needs the Salvaged Code badge: "collect all 4 hint floppy disks", and "these cannot be done out of order". Roblox shows 79,497 players with Salvaged Code.

The eyeball it throws latches on, "preventing the affected player from using their glove or abilities", per the wiki. Players rate it highly: "the pull removes their glove temporarily which is very strong." (Reddit, Oct 18).

Oil (Oct 9). "Join us this week to try out the all new Oil Glove," the listing said. The wiki puts its price at 17,776 slaps, a nod to 1776. It leaves oil puddles, and its fireball sets them alight.

Why It Matters

Slap Battles ships a new glove or Mastery most Fridays at 16:00 UTC. Halloween gets two weeks instead, as it did in 2024. It also pulled players back. ObbyDesk's tracker had the game at a best rank of 83 and an 18,789-player peak on Oct 16, the Catseye day. On Oct 23, Halloween day, it peaked at 43,670 and reached 39th. That is 2.3 times the crowd.

Players had a plan before it started. One wrote that they would get "the candy corn bossfight glove first... but after that... im NOT even testing the glove , STRAIGHT to harvester baby" (Reddit, Oct 22).

Worth it? Revenant: Yes. The fan wiki says the Cornifer fight's badge unlocks it.

Our take

Play the Cornifer fight this week, then grind Candy Corn before Nov 6. 41,007 players had Treated to Tricks the morning after the event opened, so plenty of players are running it. Old badges like Fetch me their Souls (35,150 in a day) are back too, while Jack's will only started moving on Oct 25.

What we don't know yet: whether the event adds more in its second week. The developer's listing describes nothing beyond "Boo!".
