Cameraman Tower Defense Guide: Rework, Candy, Oct 31 Update
TL;DR: Place units, stop the waves of toilets, earn coins, repeat. Two days before the October 20 rework, the store added Halloween Candy packs and a 799-Robux Premium Pass, and the next update is listed for October 31 to November 3. No codes from the developer: the ones on fan sites disagree.

The toilets are back, and so is the old game: Cameraman Tower Defense was reworked on October 20, and Roblox's new welcome badge calls it "nostalgilic Reworked TTD". The next listed update lands October 31. If you are starting now, learn the free loop of placing units and beating waves before you touch the new Candy store.
Checked Oct 24 from the game page, the developer's event listings and Roblox's store and badge data. Fan-site details are marked.
Key Takeaways
- The pitch: "Place cameraman and powerful units to fight back against invading toilets!"

- Next update: 18:00 UTC October 31 to 18:00 UTC November 3, details "Secret Information".
- Store (Oct 24): 31 developer products, from 29 to 999 Robux, including Candy packs and a Premium Pass.

Overview: what Cameraman Tower Defense is
Aligators Games, a Roblox group with 647,900 members on Oct 24, created the game on August 26, 2026. Servers hold 30 players, and Roblox files it under Strategy, Tower Defense. When we read Roblox's data at 07:15 UTC on Oct 24 it had 39,742,034 visits and 159,368 favorites. It was 31st on Roblox's Top Playing Now list at 07:11 UTC that day, with 40,447 players, and its name carried a money bag: "[💰X2] Cameraman Tower Defense".
The description is short. It opens with "Legends came back..", then: "Step on a platform to start a match!", "Place cameraman and powerful units to fight back against invading toilets!" and "Beat waves to win". It adds "All assets was made by us" and credits two independent developers.

What changed: the rework and the update timeline
The developer's own event listings tell the story in order:
| Listing | Dates (UTC) | What the developer wrote |
|---|---|---|
| Release 1.0.0 | Sep 19 | "(Today)" |
| First Update | Sep 24 to Sep 26 | "Check Description" |
| Gems Update | Oct 9 to Oct 16 | Gems and Spider Crate, Quests, Glitch Cameraman, Modifiers, Woman Crate, AFK World, Play Again Button, Speeds |
| "🎃Hallowen + UTCM🎥" | Oct 19 to Oct 21 | "No Leaks for this Update." Subtitle: "You can’t hide G-Toilet." |
| "📺UTTVM Update📺" | Oct 31 to Nov 3 | "Secret Information" (subtitle on Oct 26: "☠️New Godly Tower☠️") |
The developer never spells out "UTCM" or "UTTVM", and we could not find either explained anywhere official. Until October 24 the October 31 subtitle was "dab os era uoY", a sentence written backwards; by October 26 it read "☠️New Godly Tower☠️", which is easier to flip.
The rework. Roblox's badge data has the clearest sign. Six badges were created on October 20. One is "Welcome to home, my friend!", with the text "Welcome to nostalgilic Reworked TTD!". The other five are "Beat Easy Difficulty!" through "Beat Nightmare Difficulty!".
Desk note: the welcome badge had 458,101 holders on Oct 24, and 455,428 of them, over 99%, got it in the single day before our read. That day the five difficulty badges had 0 holders each. Two days later they were moving: on October 26, Roblox counted 12,155 for Easy, 16,038 for Medium, 27,224 for Hard, 32,706 for Insane and 7,575 for Nightmare. More players hold the Insane badge than the Easy one, so the five badges are not a simple ladder.
A fan guide from mid-October, before the rework, describes modes called Easy, Normal and Insane and five maps, from Cameraman HQ to Desert. The new badges name five difficulties instead, so treat older guides with care.

Cameraman Tower Defense tips for your first matches
- Start a match from the platform. The description's first step: "Step on a platform to start a match!"
- Place early, upgrade later. A fan guide's stat table shows a fully upgraded unit doing 10 times its base damage, and says "upgraded boards beat crowded ones".
- Share the map. With up to 30 players per server, the fan guide says placements are "first come, first served".
- Win 20 matches for free Gems. Per the fan guide, the Quests tab "unlocks once you have won 20 matches", and Quests are the free way to earn Gems. The developer's Gems Update listing confirms Quests and Gems.
- Spend coins on summons, not Robux. The fan guide: "Summons cost coins, not Robux, so the banner is the every-player route to a roster."
- Ignore code lists for now. See below.
Store, codes and safety
What Robux buys. At 07:15 UTC on Oct 24, Roblox's data showed no game passes and 31 developer products for sale, from 29 to 999 Robux:
- Halloween, created October 18: "500 Candy" (39) to "10,000 Candy" (399), "Double Candy" (199), "Premium Pass" (799), and three "Skip Tier" products (49 and 79, created October 19).
- Currency: Coins from "400 Coins" (39) to "10,000 Coins" (399); Gems from "100 Gems" (79) to "2,000 Gems" (799).
- Units and luck: "New Mythics Pack" (999), "Update Units Pack" (99), "Jetpack Pack" (199), "Scientist Crate" x1, x3 and x10 (49 to 399), luck and coin boosts (29 to 199), and "X2 Speed" (99).
The developer has not said what the Premium Pass or Candy unlocks, and none of these Halloween products has a description.

Codes. We checked the game description and the Aligators Games group on Oct 24. Neither listed a code, and the group had no shout. Fan sites do list codes, but one fan wiki leaves two of them out "because those lists disagree", and another fan guide's proof is a video, which we never use as a source. We only list codes the developer posts, so the block below stays empty for now.
Cameraman Tower Defense codes
Last checked , from the game description and the Aligators Games group on Roblox.
Oct242026
No active codes: the developer listed none when we checked on Oct 24, 2026, 07:15 UTC.
"New" means we first saw the code on the developer's channel in the last 7 days. We copy codes from the developer and do not test them in game. No code gives free Robux. Codes for every game we track.
For parents. Roblox labels Cameraman Tower Defense Minimal, "Suitable for everyone". The enemies are cartoon toilets. Two things to know: the store has 31 products including a 799-Robux Premium Pass, and the developer's group description says "If you could donate some robux - we wouldn’t mind that :)". Roblox's Parental Controls let a parent "set a monthly spending limit on how much money your child can spend on Roblox". Our guide to Roblox scams covers fake code sites.
Our take
Play the reworked waves for free, and wait on the Candy store until the developer says what it buys. The Premium Pass costs 799 Robux and has no description, and Candy packs run to 399 Robux for 10,000 Candy. The free route is real: coins buy summons and Quests pay Gems after 20 wins, per the fan guide. What we don't know yet: what UTCM means, what Candy and the Premium Pass unlock, and what lands on October 31.

How we checked this
We read the game's data, description, group, age label, event listings, game passes, developer products and badges through a public mirror of Roblox's official APIs at 07:15 UTC on October 24, 2026, and Roblox's Top Playing Now chart at 07:11 UTC. Tips about upgrades, Quests, summons and placement come from cameramantowerdefenseguide.wiki, an unofficial fan guide written before the October 20 rework; the code-list warning comes from it and from the unofficial cameraman-tower-defense-wiki.wiki. Neither is the developer. The Arctic Shift archive timed out on Oct 24, so there is no Reddit quote yet. We did not play the game. All 31 sources are in our source file. Last reviewed October 24, 2026.
