Roblox gives every game a content maturity label. Its support page defines the lowest one, Minimal, as "May contain occasional mild violence, light unrealistic blood, and/or occasional mild fear." Each game also shows content descriptors, and Roblox notes that "Content descriptors are determined by the experience creator and descriptors may vary between experiences."

Halloween is when "mild fear" matters most, so we went one step further than the label. We took the 98 games on ObbyDesk's reading of Roblox's Top Playing Now chart at 04:13 UTC on October 11, 2026, read each one's Events list on Roblox, and kept the games with a listing whose title or subtitle says Halloween and that is live at some point between October 22 and October 31. That gave 21 games. Then we read Roblox's age recommendation for each and kept the ones rated Minimal with no Fear descriptor: 11 games.

This is not a test of how a game feels to play. It is what the developers declared to Roblox and what their own listings say. We did not play these events.

Not every player wants a scare. "It feels like all the actually high quality story games out there are all horror." one Reddit post said (Reddit, Sep 27, 2026), asking for games "to play and relax with instead of being on edge".

Within each group, games are ranked by players on the October 11 chart. Times are UTC with US Eastern in brackets (EDT until November 1, EST after).

Suitable for everyone

1. Steal An Egg (#1, 1,813,971 players). The "Halloween Dimension" listing runs October 17, 15:00 UTC (11 AM ET) to October 24, 14:00 UTC. It promises "a gateway to the Halloween Dimension", with "powerful bosses" and "secret eggs", and calls it a "massive two-part Halloween event". 2. Brookhaven RP (#2, 436,308). The "🎃 HALLOWEEN 🎃" listing is set to start October 23 at 18:00 UTC (2 PM ET) and run to November 6. Its only text: "Trick or Treat! It's time for HALLOWEEN in Brookhaven!" Servers hold 30 players. See our Brookhaven RP guide.

3. Adopt Me! (#4, 233,542). The "ADOPT ME NEW UPDATE!" listing, subtitled "Halloween Week 3!", runs to October 23 at 14:45 UTC (10:45 AM ET). 5. +1 Stone Skipping (#24, 55,399). A "Halloween Event" is listed from October 17 to November 3, 19:00 UTC, subtitled "EXCLUSIVE REWARDS!", and its text promises "NEW AURAS". The game is about skipping stones: "Every bounce gives you +1 Skill!"

7. Welcome to Bloxburg (#45, 29,104). Its "Halloween Event" runs October 8 to November 2: "Play different Halloween activities and earn money 💵 explore spooky Halloween locations 👻 decorate your house with a variety of Halloween items". Bloxburg is a building and life game.

8. Search For The Needle (#69, 22,173). "CHAPTER 4 + HALLOWEEN 🎃" runs to October 31, 18:30 UTC. The game calls itself "a chill cozy game about finding a Needle in a giant pile of Hay".

Minimal, with mild violence but no fear

10. BedWars (#36, 38,957). Descriptor: Violence (Occasional/Mild). Part 2 of its Halloween event is listed from October 23, 22:00 UTC (6 PM ET) to October 30, and Part 3 from October 30 to November 3, 04:00 UTC. Servers hold 40 players. 11. Creatures of Sonaria (#65, 23,193). Descriptors: Blood (Light/Unrealistic) and Violence (Occasional/Mild). "HALLOWEEN EVENT W3" is set for October 23, 20:30 UTC to October 26. It offers quests to "unlock unique NEW creepy creatures", so the theme is spooky even without a Fear descriptor.

Parental controls for Halloween events

Roblox Support says "Parents with linked accounts can still manage content restrictions, and may also be able to allow or block specific games for their child." It also notes that "some games may not be available by default for children using Roblox Kids or Roblox Select, even when other parental settings are changed."

Some listings mention time-limited items: Creatures of Sonaria's says its new items are "temporarily available". Roblox's Parental Controls let a parent "set a monthly spending limit on how much money your child can spend on Roblox, including Robux or subscriptions to individual games."

Based on Roblox's labels, descriptors and the developers' own event listings cited above, Brookhaven RP, Adopt Me!, Fisch, Dress To Impress, Welcome to Bloxburg and +1 Stone Skipping are the lowest-risk Halloween picks by label for kids who scare easily: everyday play (roleplay, pets, fishing, fashion, building) with a seasonal coat of paint. Keyboard Escape, BedWars and Creatures of Sonaria are fine for most kids who already play action games, but their Halloween themes lean spookier.
