These Roblox games for younger kids all come from the same place: the 60 most played games on Roblox on October 10, 2026, filtered by Roblox's own age label. We kept only games labeled Minimal whose single content descriptor is "Suitable for everyone", then picked 11 across pets, fishing, roleplay, dress-up, sports and obbies. Each pick has its chart rank, its server size and one thing a parent should know.

TL;DR: 28 of the top 60 games had Roblox's lowest label plus "Suitable for everyone" on October 10, 2026. Our 11 picks start with Adopt Me!, Brookhaven RP and Fisch. The label covers content, not other players, so set chat and spending limits in Roblox's Parental Controls before your child plays.

Key Takeaways

  • The filter: Roblox's Minimal label and the "Suitable for everyone" descriptor, read from Roblox's own data.
  • The pool: 38 of the top 60 games were Minimal; 28 of those had "Suitable for everyone" as their only descriptor.
  • The picks: 11 games grouped by type of play, from Adopt Me! (2nd on the chart) to Dreamville (39th).
  • Chat: under 9, experience chat needs a parent's consent; under 13, direct chat does too.
  • The gap: Roblox's chat settings "only apply to experience chat and direct chat, not to chat features added by the creator of a game."

Overview: how we picked these Roblox games for younger kids

Roblox gives every game a maturity label. There are four: Minimal, Mild, Moderate and Restricted. Roblox describes Minimal, the lowest, this way: "May contain occasional mild violence, light unrealistic blood, and/or occasional mild fear." On top of the label, a game lists content descriptors. Roblox notes that "Content descriptors are determined by the experience creator and descriptors may vary between experiences."

We took ObbyDesk's reading of Roblox's Top Playing Now list at 16:49 UTC on October 10, 2026. 38 of the top 60 games carried the Minimal label, and we asked Roblox's age-recommendation service for the descriptors of each of those 38. 28 had one descriptor only: "Suitable for everyone". The other 10 list things like violence or fear, and we name all of them under close calls below.

From the 28, we left out games built around stealing from other players, such as Steal An Egg, and kept 12 that cover different kinds of play. One of them, Makeup Mania!, has since been relabeled for ages 16+, so 11 remain. Player counts are a snapshot from that afternoon and change by the minute.

Analysis: the 11 best Roblox games for younger kids, by type of play

Pets and animals

1. Adopt Me! (2nd, 677,956 players). Made by Uplift Games; up to 35 players per server. The page sums it up: "Adopt and raise 🐶🦄👶, trade and collect legendary pets, build your dream home, and roleplay with friends!" For parents: trading pets with other players is part of the game, so talk about trades before your child makes one. Our Adopt Me! Halloween 2026 guide covers the current event.

2. Ride A Pet (15th, 132,857 players). Made by a group called "this game is gud"; only 6 players per server, the smallest on this list, so at most five other players share a server with your child. The first step on the page is "🥚 Find Eggs Around The Map". See our Ride A Pet guide for how the egg loop works.

3. Pet Simulator 99 (30th, 66,763 players). Made by BIG Games Pets; 10 players per server. The page says: "Create an army of the coolest pets! They will help you get RICH!" For parents: collecting games like this one can pull kids toward buying more, so a spending limit helps.

Fishing

4. Fisch (9th, 267,107 players). Made by Fisching; 20 players per server. The page calls it "the ultimate fishing adventure where exploration and progression are yours to control." Fishing is the main activity. Our Fisch beginner guide explains the cast, shake and reel steps.

5. Fish It! (25th, 75,137 players). Made by Fish Atelier; 20 players per server. The page promises "🍀 Collect from 1,000,000+ variations 🎣 Fish with your friends". For parents: the same page now advertises a "NEW SKIN CRATE WITH 5 ANIMATED RODS", so check what it costs before your child spends anything.

Town roleplay

6. Brookhaven RP (3rd, 648,365 players). Made by Brookhaven by Voldex; 30 players per server. The page: "A place to play with like minded people and roleplay." Open roleplay means your child plays with whoever is in the server, so chat settings matter most here.

7. Berry Avenue RP (24th, 75,882 players). Made by Amberry Games; 31 players per server. "⭐ Welcome to Berry Avenue! A place to roleplay, hang out and explore!" The page lists roles like "Become a student at the High School" and "Treat patients at the hospital"; our Berry Avenue guide walks through the town and its safety settings.

8. Dreamville RP (39th, 52,809 players). Made by Dreamfusion Games; 25 players per server. The page invites players to "Hang out with friends, meet new people, create your own fun, and explore a city full of possibilities." The words "meet new people" are the reason to set chat controls first.

GODEEPER: Brookhaven's page now lists a spa update as its latest: "🧘 New wellness estate and free house!" Our guide covers its October dates and the free basics. Brookhaven RP Guide: Hospital Refresh, Spa Date and Tips →

Dress-up

9. Dress To Impress (19th, 93,503 players). Made by Dress To Impress Group; 13 players per server. "Create stunning outfits 👗💖⭐, and strut the runway to show off your unique style." Players vote on each other's outfits, so expect some friendly competition. Our Dress To Impress Halloween 2026 article has the event date.

Dropped on Oct 16: Makeup Mania! It was on this list on Oct 10 as a Minimal game, "Suitable for everyone". When we checked again on Oct 16, Roblox's label read "Maturity: Moderate • Ages 16+", with one descriptor: "Free Form User Creation (Present)". Roblox says games with free-form user creation "are only available to age-checked users 16 and older", so it is off the list.

Sports and obbies

10. Volleyball Legends (16th, 105,597 players). Made by Volleyball Game Group; 12 players per server. "Play a pickup Volleyball game with friends OR challenge anyone in a RANKED match". Pickup games with friends are the gentler start, and ranked matches can wait.

11. Tower of Hell (35th, 56,491 players). Made by YXceptional Studios; 20 players per server. The challenge is in one line: "Can you be the first to the top in this randomly generated obby with absolutely no checkpoints at all?" No checkpoints means a fall can send you back to the bottom, which can frustrate a young child. "Owners of VIP-Servers can use the settings menu to skip rounds, set the tower size and lock the shop."

Close calls: Minimal, but with descriptors

These games also carry Roblox's lowest label but list more than "Suitable for everyone", so they did not make our list:

  • 99 Nights in the Forest (4th): "Fear (Occasional/Mild)" and "Violence (Occasional/Mild)".
  • +1 Speed Keyboard Escape (6th): "Violence (Occasional/Mild)".
  • Steal a Brainrot (12th): "Violence (Occasional/Mild)"; see our Steal a Brainrot guide.
  • Catalog Avatar Creator (18th): "Artificial Intelligence (Standalone)".
  • Animal Hospital (Anomaly) (36th): "Blood (Light/Unrealistic)", "Fear (Occasional/Mild)" and "Violence (Occasional/Mild)".
  • Steal an Clown Egg (41st): "Fear (Occasional/Mild)" and "Violence (Occasional/Mild)".
  • BedWars (47th): "Violence (Occasional/Mild)".
  • Creatures of Sonaria (54th): "Blood (Light/Unrealistic)" and "Violence (Occasional/Mild)".
  • Dubai RP (55th): "Violence (Occasional/Mild)".
  • Bee Swarm Simulator (58th): "Violence (Occasional/Mild)".

Steal An Egg (1st) and Break and Steal an Egg (20th) are labeled "Suitable for everyone" too. We left them out because stealing from other players is a main part of both: Steal An Egg's page says "🥷 Steal eggs from other players", and Break and Steal an Egg's says "Steal them and escape the guards".

Chat, blocking and spending: what Roblox lets parents set

The label is only half the picture. Roblox says its labels help families "understand what types of content to expect in Roblox games". They do not cover the other players. These settings, quoted from Roblox's Parental Controls pages, do:

  • Link accounts, or use Parent mode. Roblox says "There are two ways to manage parental controls": link your own account to your child's, or use Parent mode on your child's device, where "You don't need your own Roblox account." Parent mode "is rolling out gradually and may not be available to everyone yet."
  • Pick a maturity level. "Move the slider to choose Minimal, Mild, Moderate, or Restricted."
  • Block a game. "Block a game to prevent your child from joining it, regardless of its content maturity level." Note that "Blocked games will still appear in search results."
  • Chat. "Communication controls let you choose how your child can chat and collaborate with others on Roblox." Roblox adds that "Experience chat lets your child chat with trusted friends and people in similar age groups who are playing the same game." By age: "Users under the age of 9 require parental consent to enable experience chat", and "Users under the age of 13 require parental consent to enable direct chat."
  • The gap. "These settings only apply to experience chat and direct chat, not to chat features added by the creator of a game."
  • Spending. "You can set a monthly spending limit on how much money your child can spend on Roblox, including Robux or subscriptions to individual games." Also, "High spend alerts are on by default for all linked parents."

And one rule for every game on this list: "There is no such thing as free Robux or subscription offers, tricks, or codes."

One parent describes both the result and the limits. On r/Parenting they wrote: "Chat is disabled in my kids Roblox account, and they can only play games "of their age"." The same parent added: "The problem is that games people create can have a PG rating which is completely false." (Reddit, Aug 3, 2026). That fits Roblox's own note that descriptors are set by each game's creator, and it is why we pair the label with what each game page actually asks players to do.

Our take

Based on Roblox's own labels and the game pages quoted above, the easiest starting points for a young child are the small, calm games: Ride A Pet with 6 players per server, and Fisch, where the main task is fishing. Dress-up and pet games come next. The big roleplay towns, Brookhaven, Berry Avenue and Dreamville, carry the same "Suitable for everyone" descriptor, but they are open spaces full of strangers, so they are the ones where chat settings matter most. Whatever you pick, link your account, set the chat and spending limits, and remember that a label describes the game, not the people in it.

How we checked this

We used ObbyDesk's reading of Roblox's Top Playing Now list from 16:49 UTC on October 10, 2026, then read the age label and descriptors for all 38 Minimal games in the top 60, and each game's description and server size, through a public mirror of Roblox's official APIs. Label meanings and every parental control quote come from Roblox Support pages read the same day. On Oct 16 we re-read the label, description and server size of every pick and the Roblox Support pages: Roblox had reworded its chat, blocking and linking lines, and Makeup Mania! had a new label. On Oct 17 we re-read every label; none had changed since Oct 16. The parent comment was read on Reddit. We did not play these games for this list. All 105 sources are in our source file.
