Steal An Egg's developer, the verified Roblox group "and Collect Rare Pets", has one Halloween listing on the game's page. Its title is "Halloween Dimension🎃" and its subtitle is "A New Dimension 🦇". The description reads in full:
"A mysterious structure is appearing... a gateway to the Halloween Dimension. 👀 Monster roars echo from within, powerful bosses await, and secret eggs are waiting to be discovered... Step inside next week as our massive two-part Halloween event begins!"

The same teaser closed the game's Update 8 notes. Sportskeeda, which says it copied them from the game's official Discord, quotes: "A massive Halloween update is coming next week! Get ready for a giant two-part event and a whole new dimension to explore." Sportskeeda dates Update 8 to October 10, 2026, and says it added mounts, a Shooting Stars event and a Nitro Race event. We could not open the Discord ourselves, so that part is secondary.

Steal An Egg sat at the top of Roblox's chart when we checked. ObbyDesk's tracker read it at number one on the Top Playing Now chart at 12:49 UTC on October 12, 2026, with 1,663,626 players. Roblox's data that day showed 7,839,844,594 visits, and the developer group had 98,100,705 members. When we checked again on October 13, the game had last been updated at 19:19 UTC on October 12. What the last boss events looked like. The listing does not say how the Halloween bosses will work. The game's fan wiki, which copies each update's notes and is unofficial, shows the pattern of the two Dr. Scramble updates. In Update 5, "Every 30 minutes, Dr. Scramble's drones will invade the map!", and players spent the Samples they collected in a new Experiment Shop. In Update 6, "Every 30 minutes, Dr. Scramble returns in his Mecha to take over the game!", with a "100-TIER BOSS MILESTONE". Treat this as a guide to the style of past events, not a promise about Halloween.

Paid eggs. The same wiki says Update 6 added the Extinction Egg under the heading "New Paid Egg". Roblox's store data on October 12, 2026, still shows "[Extinction] Limited Egg" packs from 99 Robux for one egg to 3,499 Robux for 50. The Halloween listing does not say whether its secret eggs can be bought, so there is no reason to spend ahead of the update.
Codes. We checked the game description and the developer's group on October 12, 2026. Neither lists a code, and the group has no shout. We could not confirm an official Discord or X account from Roblox's data, so we do not link the community servers that call themselves official.

What players are saying
Not every Roblox player knew the game a month ago. "Never heard of it until 2 days ago honestly," one player wrote on r/roblox under the title "What's the big deal with Steal an Egg?" (r/roblox, Sep 16, 2026). A reply in the same thread was not impressed: "The game itself is nothing more than the brainrot games that are out there now." (r/roblox, Sep 16, 2026). Based on the developer's listing, the Update 8 notes quoted by Sportskeeda and the fan wiki's copy of past notes, the safe facts are the start time and the promise of bosses and secret eggs. Everything else, including which bosses, which eggs and when part two starts, is unknown until October 17. The fan wiki's copy of the Update 6 notes says Dr. Scramble's boss came back every 30 minutes; if the Halloween bosses work the same way, there is no need to rush the first hour.
