Simulation is the genre Roblox gives to games about running something: a business, a base, a vehicle or a counter that keeps going up. Roblox splits it into six subgenres. In a Tycoon you collect money from droppers and spend it upgrading your base. In an Incremental Simulator simple repeated actions raise a number and unlock new levels and characters. Idle, Physics Sim, Sandbox and Vehicle Sim complete the set.

The genre is Roblox's, shown on each game's Roblox page.
